The Gwinnett County Board of REALTORS® Scholarship Foundation, through the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®, Awards Scholarships to Suraj Modi and Faith Howerton

Suraj Modi and Faith Howerton each received a $4,000.00 college scholarship from the Gwinnett County Board of REALTORS® Scholarship Foundation, through the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®.

Suraj will graduate from Mountain View High School located in Lawrenceville in the spring. He plans to major in Premed or Biology but is undecided on which college he will be attending. Suraj is the son of Vimal and Meeta Modi. Meeta is a REALTOR® with First United Realty and a member of NAMAR.

Faith will graduate from Milton High School located in Milton, Georgia. She plans to attend Georgia Tech and major in Premed or Biology. She is the daughter of Peter and Shawn Howerton. Faith’s grandmother, Noel West, is a REALTOR® with Coldwell Banker and member of NAMAR.

This is the 25thyear that the Foundation, through the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®, has presented a Scholarship to an outstanding high school senior. Recipients must have a first or second generation family member who is active in the real estate profession and is a current member of The Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS®. They are also judged by their grade point averages, SAT scores, leadership ability and character. Established in 1969, The Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS® promotes professionalism and ethical real estate practices.
