Alysha is the granddaughter of Gary & JoAnn Thomason of Stone Mountain and the late Grady & Eddie McCannon of Lawrenceville. She is a 2009 graduate of Brookwood High School and received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2013 from the University of North Georgia. She is employed by Forsyth County Wellness Center as an athletic trainer.
Josh is the grandson of Eva Nell Pruitt and the late Edward Pruitt of Suches and Dorothy Fay Abernathy and the late Henry Abernathy of Dahlonega.
He is a 2002 graduate of Lumpkin County High School and is employed by Windstream Communications as a technician.
The wedding is planned for January 11, 2014, at The Cotton Warehouse in Monroe, Georgia.
