2 NYer’s Pizza is partnering with the non-profit foundation “Loved and Protected” to help its founder 12-year-old Caden Jackson reach and exceed his goal of 1000 winter items for local children in need. Bring your new or gently used children’s coats, hats, scarves, and gloves to 2 NYer’s Pizza in Duluth from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Santa will be onsite to take pictures with the kids. Donate an item, and you will receive a free cheesy bread with the purchase of any size pizza. Come out and help us give back to the community!

2 NYer’s Pizza is located in Sugarloaf Marketplace in Duluth and is run by Kevin and Franky, both from New York. Kevin is from Long Island and Franky is from Brooklyn. They both began working in the restaurant industry in their early teens. With a shared belief in quality, delicious food, and exemplary customer service, 2NYER’S Pizza opened in October of 2020. For them, they are not servicing customers; they are serving their families. With over 60 years of combined restaurant experience, they came together to bring the New York pizza experience to Georgia.

Loved And Protected is a non-profit foundation located in Lawrenceville, Georgia founded by 12-year-old Caden Jackson. Caden was inspired to give back to those children at his school who couldn’t afford necessities, the things that many of us take for granted. Using his resources, Caden gave back to those he saw in need. He now wants to empower other children to do the same by donating what they already have.

The Loved & Protected Foundation is committed to encouraging people to donate unused items that are sitting in their attics, basements, or back closets. These items can be a blessing to someone struggling. The foundation also stresses the importance of being a good steward of what you have so that it can be given to someone in need. The foundation hopes to change the minds of youth and adults so that they can understand that they have a responsibility to take care of their possessions. This is because they may be of value to someone in the future.

The foundation also wants to bridge the gap between those in need and those who would like to help. Not only in our community but throughout the nation. Caden wants his foundation to be a resource for the underprivileged and help them feel “Loved and Protected.”
