Manchester Orchestra and the Fox Theatre are excited to announce that the band’s annual Thanksgiving concert, held at the Fox Theatre on Nov. 18, will partner with local Atlanta non-profit Umi Feeds.
“We implore the community to support our mission to end hunger in Georgia. With your contribution, our vision of a hunger-free community right here in Atlanta will one day be a reality,” says Founder and Executive Director of Umi Feeds, Erica “Umi” Clahar. Umi Feeds is helping those in need by collecting healthy canned and other non-perishable food items to support the Umi Feeds Food Pantry, which directly benefits Atlanta’s Sylvan Middle School. Requested items, which can be dropped off at the Fox Theatre during the Nov. 18 concert, include applesauce, peanut butter, crackers, and personal hygiene products. A full list of recommended donation items is available on the Fox Theatre’s event page at foxtheatre.org/thestuffing.
“We are thrilled and honored to be partnering this year with UMI FEEDS at the Stuffing. Please bring canned food and non-perishable food items to this year’s The Stuffing at the Fox Theatre”, says Manchester Orchestra.
