(Lawrenceville, Ga., July 1, 2014) – Five houses located within Gwinnett County parks will be leased to veterans and their families under an agreement approved by commissioners on Tuesday.

The agreement gives The IMPACT! Group sole responsibility for administering the program and all operations and maintenance costs related to the properties.

The houses are located at the following Gwinnett County parks: Graves Park, Harbins Park, J.B. Williams Park, Lenora Park and Little Mulberry Park. Established in 1992, The IMPACT! For Vets capital campaign focused on delivering much-needed housing and specialized services for nearly 3,600 homeless veteran families in our community.”

Commission Chairman Charlotte Nash said, “Gwinnett County is very pleased to partner again with The IMPACT! Group and its volunteer board by providing this opportunity to help homeless veterans and their families in Gwinnett County.”
