Walmart joins Georgia manufacturing EXPO Line-up
EXPO teams up with Walmart to encourage involvement in U.S. manufaturing commitment

Georgia Manufacturing Expo has teamed up with Walmart to help communicate its commitment to buy an additional $250 billion in products that support American manufacturing over the next 10 years.

This commitment represents a significant investment to accelerate U.S. manufacturing and create American jobs. The Boston Consulting Group estimates the initiative will add 1 million jobs in the United States.

A Senior Director at Walmart, Joe Quinn, will be presenting at this year’s Georgia Manufacturing EXPO held at the Gwinnett Center June 13-14. Quinn will make a presentation during the general session directed toward consumers. Registered guests are invited to learn about this program and the impact it will have on growing jobs in America. During the exhibitor reception Friday afternoon, Quinn will share how Georgia manufacturers can become involved.

GME founder, Jason Moss, calls the event “the perfect opportunity to help connect consumers to the brands and products manufactured in Georgia. Walmart’s participation at the EXPO will provide an avenue to help local companies take part in this amazing initiative to grow one million new American jobs.” He says that “Walmart gets what we are trying to do. The Georgia Manufacturing EXPO is about supporting and improving the economy within our own community.”
