Wyrick Mechanical - a HVAC family business you can count on
By Beth Volpert Johansen

Since 1994, Wyrick Mechanical’s Ray Wyrick has provided HVAC services with honesty and integrity. Those qualities have become the mainstay of the family business he founded in 2002.

Family owned and operated are words not taken lightly by the husband/wife team. “It is just he and I,” says Hollie. “We are a very busy, small company with growth for the future.” The Wyrick’s growth plans include pleasing their customer base with responsiveness and quality service. “We get a lot of our business through referrals from family  and friends,” says Ray. “We are a family run business based on faith & great values.”

As with many HVAC companies, work opportunities surge with the change of seasons. When your heat goes out in the winter or your air goes out in the summer, customers want immediate results. “We cater to our customers,” says Hollie. “We don’t do the hard upsell for things they don’t need or want.” The Wyricks take the stance that they only do what they need to do, stay within a budget and treat people like they want to be treated.

The company stresses that they are completely licensed and insured. “We take great pride in our work with both residential and commercial customers,” says Hollie. “We have the tools, training, and experience to troubleshoot, repair, or replace systems for any of your air comfort needs.” Wyrick provides systems for new or existing homes in and around Gwinnett County.

“Systems should be looked at twice a year,” says Ray. “We recommend the condensing unit coil to be washed, drain lines flushed, and replace filters.” Replacing filters help keep costs down. Wyrick suggests quarterly filter changes. Properly maintaining HVAC systems can help avoid expensive repairs, high energy costs and failure to heat or cool.

As a family outside of the office, Ray and Hollie enjoy fishing together. “In our free time we love the outdoors, either hunting or fishing, spending time with family and friends, and experiencing life thru our little boy,” says Ray, “Once he is old enough he will be fishing with us!”
