On some weeks as I prepare my sermons, I often write letters I never intend to mail.  I do so to help remember a sermon is directed to people. It helps me process my life too. Recently, I did this exercise.

One of my favorite stories in the Bible is the story of David and Goliath.  It’s a great underdog story.  You have Goliath who is a grown man and experienced fighting champion.  He is almost ten feet tall.   It’s hard to describe how big and strong he was.
