The organization No Longer Bound was founded, not surprisingly, by a U.S. Marine who fought in the Viet Nam War. When he returned home from the war, he found that he had a new battle to fight, and this time the enemy was more formidable, more devious,  than any he had ever battled.

Eastside Medical Center teamed up with Make-a-Wish Georgia September 30, 2016 for the grand finale to the hospital’s Make-A-Wish campaign. Members of the Eastside Leadership team and Tim Early, CEO of Make-A-Wish Georgia, blazed through the obstacle course during the tricycle race.

Georgia Angler Award Program celebrates your great catches!

Each year, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division recognizes anglers for outstanding catches. Anglers who catch a fish that meets or beats a specific weight or length limit for that species are eligible for a free Angler Award.

Gwinnett Breast Cancer Awareness month kicks off in style

Lawrenceville – Saturday, Oct. 1 dawned sunny and a little cool, a perfect day for a walk. At least, that’s what more than 800 men, women and children thought as families and friends flocked to Coolray Field for Gwinnett County’s first annual “Paint Gwinnett Pink” 5K Run and Walk for Breast Cancer. Gwinnett Medical Center partnered with Paint Georgia Pink, Inc. to present this day of fellowship, exercise, celebration and honoring (and of course, some fundraising).
