Brookwood community supports band program

Snellville – The students, parents and faculty of Brookwood High School are proud of the school’s band program, and rightfully so. The largest such program in the state, Brookwood High School’s band boasts 370 students in band classes.

Gwinnett – The camera slowly pans the room, taking in a wall of heavy antique bookcases laden with rows of books, all worn, handsomely-bound classics. Two Tiffany lamps sit regally atop a hand carved desk, creating the warm, golden glow that only a Tiffany lamp can cast; tucked at a slight angle behind the desk is a beautifully upholstered, high back antique chair.
Participants will: Hear from experts about the growing crisis in our community. Learn about recovery resources available to faith leaders and their communities.
Professionals interested in sharing their career experiences with young people are invited to participate in an upcoming career exploration night on Thursday, April 21, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Norcross High School.
