When you live in a small town, even the little details get noticed. Things like a cool car tag are always interesting, sometimes difficult to figure out, but often very descriptive of the driver. A tag that reads: RAN USA just begs to be investigated and was found to be an apt description of the driver, Kathy Barker.

Teylor Newsome of Lawrenceville and Grayson High School graduate is a Clemson University sophomore majoring in English with a concentration in writing and a minor in Communications. Teylor aspires to be a Broadcast Journalist upon graduation. While we have no doubt Teylor will be sharing news in the future, she is currently making her own and leaving a legacy at Clemson University.

Allison Wilkerson, newly elected mayor of the City of Grayson, is a second-generation mayor, her father having served in the position during the 1990s.

Co-working, incubating, off-site mentors and downtown development authority are all words floating around the building at 438 Grayson Parkway in downtown Grayson, GA. The address is home to The Grayson DDA and its latest project, The Grayson DDA Business Incubator.

It all began with this year’s Homecoming at South Gwinnett. Coach Jack Britt and I had divided loyalties for both South and Grayson. Coach Jack asked me, “Which side do we sit on?”
