Mary Long & Rodney Camren, along with New Lawrenceville kick off the 5th Annual Trolley Tours of Lawrenceville on Saturday June 1st, 2013 at 1pm. For 5 fun filled years now New Lawrenceville has given the residents, business owners and visitors the ride of their lives on a Trolley! Every Saturday at 1pm for the month of June 2013 come ride the Trolley around the City of Lawrenceville and hear volunteer, lifelong resident, author and historian Mary Long give details and accounts of Lawrenceville’s past. The tours are FREE and are first come first ride and usually holds about 25-30 people. Come early as we give out the tickets the day of the event in front of the water fountain across from the front doors of the Historic Courthouse on Crogan Street. The tours will last about 1 hour and during that time there are door prizes randomly given out by our sponsors.
At the end of the tour you will receive a goody bag filled with items from the local business owners and sponsors. New Lawrenceville’s Trolley Tours are presented by the local businesses of the community who sponsor the tours, never using Tax payer’s money to fund events for the community ~ “Bringing Community Together”.
