“Under the Reign of Our King”

Solomon’s position as king and his reign are the high water mark of man’s influence over the world as a righteous sovereign.  1 Kings 3:12b states from the LORD God Himself: “Behold, I have given you a wise and discerning heart, so that there has been no one like you before you, nor shall one like you arise after you.

Never Worry About These 5 Things

In Romans 8:31-39 the Apostle Paul instructs Christians that God is for us, and he wants what is best for our lives.  Through 5 rhetorical questions, the Apostle Paul reminds us of the incredible benefits of being on God’s team.

Summer’s Here!

One Day in Heaven

A few years ago some friends invited our family to go to Six Flags with them for the day. They had VIP passes, and said that all of our expenses would be covered. So, our family piled into our swagger wagon (a.k.a. minivan), and we followed their family to Six Flags.

Having the Rock

Humble beginnings

In October of 2004 Graystone Church began in a rented warehouse space on Grayson Industrial Parkway.  On that first Sunday, approximately 160 people were in attendance, and Grayson High School Head Football Coach Mickey Conn shared his testimony.

Does God open and close doors?

I hear people say all the time, “God opened a door for me.” Or, “God closed a door for us.”  Does God really open and close doors to show us His will for our lives?

A meeting with God

As a small boy growing up in South Mississippi, I spent the majority of my summer vacations shirtless and shoeless.  We only had three channels of the TV and video games had yet to be invented (I’m old.), so I was pretty much outside from dawn to dusk.
