Although Botox is a familiar word in most households, there are many misconceptions and gray areas of knowledge for many people. This cosmetic treatment continues to rank as one of the top anti-aging treatments in the world. However, there are many other uses that have been discovered for Botox.
1. It is safe. Cool Sculpting is the first of its kind that will actually freeze fat. Traditional techniques that we have used for fat reduction have been radiofrequency devices. Radiofrequency is great for skin tightening but has not proven to be as effective for fat loss.
The trend in anti-aging in 2019 is a natural, fresh, rejuvenated look. Although the younger women are enjoying much fuller lips right now, we are seeing a decline in the Hollywood trend of overstuffed cheeks and frozen faces in stars as they reach their 50’s and 60’s.
I have seen a lot of changes in the field of anti-aging in my 22 years of working on the inside. The beginning of my career was focused on surgical facelifts and complete skin ablation with lasers. While these are still popular services among some consumers, a majority of those seeking treatments to keep them looking youthful are looking for options that provide more natural results with little to no downtime.
As you can imagine, my career in the anti-aging business has brought me many experiences. My relationships with my clients are one of the most gratifying parts of my life. Along with the skill and expertise that you must have to create a successful medical spa practice comes a responsibility to do what is best for the client. A woman who originally has the intention of brightening her skin can become more open to the idea of anti-aging treatments and start relying heavily on injectable fillers, chemical peels, and Botox. This is where it is my responsibility to “cut them off.”
